Devin Henderson - Owner & Operations Manager, Toronto & GTA
Devin, born & raised in Thunder Bay, has planned many events in her time - from high school dances, luncheons, concerts, weddings, banquets, and retreats, to conferences spanning 4 days for over 300 attendees.
Devin’s passion for event planning and customer service drove her to launch “Above & Beyond Event Services” in the fall of 2008. Her creative background and event planning experience has led to many exciting and innovative events since the inception of Above & Beyond, as well as many repeat customers. She has a hand in all aspects of the business – from handling bookings, doing event planning, and working one-on-one with clients, to occasionally bartending at the events themselves!
Laura Coulson - Operations Manager, Vancouver & Lower Mainland
World traveller and aspiring graphic designer, Laura is excited and proud to team with Devin, and Above & Beyond Event Services, to open the west coast division of the company, as of early 2011.
With a background in fashion, Laura has worked with many events including Eco Fashion Week Vancouver, private fashion shows and College productions. Her many years in the service industry, including restaurant, bar and retail, are a testament to Laura’s personal mantra to go Above and Beyond, bringing the utmost service to clients and customers. She is eager to bring her experience and knowledge to new events across the lower mainland!
