Meet Our Team

Devin Henderson - Owner & Operations Manager, Toronto & GTA

Devin, born & raised in Thunder Bay, has planned many events in her time - from high school dances, luncheons, concerts, weddings, banquets, and retreats, to conferences spanning 4 days for over 300 attendees. She has worked full time as a digital project manager, and she uses the principles in her event management – including elaborate budgeting, managing of contractors & agreements, mitigating risks & liaising with stakeholders at a high level as required.

Devin’s passion for event planning and customer service drove her to launch “Above & Beyond Event Services” in the fall of 2008. Her creative background and event planning experience has led to many exciting and innovative events since the inception of Above & Beyond, as well as many repeat customers. She has a hand in  all aspects of the business – from handling bookings, doing event planning, and working one-on-one with clients, to occasionally bartending at the events themselves!
